The serval is considered to be the most handsome as well as one of the largest of the smaller African cats, weighing in at about 34 pounds. Its face is dwarfed by its very large and upright ears. Servals are difficult too find in the wild because they are nocturnal and dwell in thick coverts. You may, by chance, see one while on safari in Kenya, as servals reside in all of the African national parks and reserves. |
